Ponyboy Dressing

Paige Frewer aka Ponyboy co-founded Man-Up in 2008. Originally Man Up strictly included drag kings, but since, it was evolved into an event that includes queen, kings, things, burlesque performers and more. Paige has created an event aimed at being an inclusive, safe space. Paige’s pronouns are they/them.



Rose Butch

Rae Takei aka Rose Butch won Mr/Miss Cobalt, a drag competition in Vancouver in 2015. Since then, Rae has been performing all over Vancouver from the Davie Village to East Van. Rae coined the term ‘drag thing’ to better describe their type of drag. Rae’s pronouns are they/them.



Mister Fister

Nadine Boulay aka Mister Fister is a PhD candidate at Simon Fraser University in the department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies and is currently researching LGBTQ rural history in BC. She has been performing in the duo Broke Back Brothers alongside her wife, Ryn, since 2014. Nadine’s pronouns are she/her.
